You took my breath away with your painting and poem Vision At Sea. Today I was on the internet searching for reference photos of you for a portrait I’m painting. I was using a production still of you that I received in the mail when I was 14 years old. I have always loved this photo of you, and recently learned that it was you in character for the film Vertigo. As a portraitist, photography is my primary form. (film photography at that. I prefer film over digital as it embarks a spiritual quality that is digital is not capable of.) My love of film noir and Mr. Hitchcock’s work with you have always been a great source of inspiration.
I’m writing to to express my wonder and gratitude for this website. I am saddened that you have discontinued printing the reproductions, but understand. Your Book will be my solace. Ms. Novak, the time you have taken read my letter is precious and I wont steal to much of this. I wanted you to know that you have brought great joy to a fellow artist, admirer and fan. I look forward to receiving your wonderful book
Oh, Kim, this is so beautiful. If I only had the resources, I would have a copy of this in my home ASAP. I spend it all on the Internet, for which I am so grateful, as it allows me to see your beautiful artwork and read your beautiful poems that go with. So many of us have loved you for such a long time; and now, since you have shared your art and your life with us for a while, your loving fans feel like your friends – at least I do. You are so sweet and such a beautiful, talented person. May happiness be your constant companion. Love, Sarah
WOW! You have outdone yourself with this painting. It is fantastic. When my new master bedroom is completed I shall have to order it to go on the wall!
Thanks for making your prints available.

I love your poetry as much as I love your artwork. I hope you are still able to paint as I know how much you lived to paint and painted to live.

Your artistry is as high as the quality of your acting. You have all my respect and admiration.
